I learn so from your wisdom in my inbox. My humble gratitude… Gigi had these verse thoughts in response to the recent post Thankful for the Plow and Rain
“Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord,
until he comes and showers righteousness on you.”
~Hosea 10:12
“For there is hope for a tree,
When it is cut down,
that it will sprout again,
And its shoots will not fail.
Though its roots grow old in the ground And its stump dies in the dry soil,
At the scent of water it will flourish
And put forth sprigs like a plant.”
~Job 14:7-9
Lord, break me up. Though it hurts. Though I am cut down, I have faith You will grow me again. I have faith that You make stumps Flourish.
Thank you, Gigi…
