Personal Weather

Probing note to inbox…

“With your words, Of Faces and Shadows, fresh on my mind, the words in this article jumped off the screen at me.

Weather can have varying effects on the moon’s color during an eclipse, and so can atmospheric pollution and debris of various kinds, so an exact prediction of the moon’s appearance is not possible…The Earth’s atmosphere bends the Sun’s red light around the curved edge of the Earth, he explains. The exact color of the glow and its darkness depend on the aerosol levels in our atmosphere. It is affected by recent volcano eruptions, cloud cover, storm activity and human pollution around the globe.”

The questions came to me quickly.

What amount of dirt, dust, and pollution does the SONlight have to pass through in my ‘atmosphere’ to reach the faces of those whom I stand before? What is the color of “the shadow my love casts on the faces of those whom I orbit?”

Thank you, once again, for giving me much to think on.”

~~

The thanks is all mine, notes slipped this way gently causing me to dig deeper, peel back another layer. And tonight I think of the shadow my day, the outline of my soul on little faces, any personal storm activity that shaded the color of His light on this place.

Thinking, praying, listening with you…

All’s grace,
