He snips the branches, gathers armfuls of quiet hope, carries spring home in a bucket. And between our fingers, we caress the soft grey willows, ashen grave clothes wrapping rumors of resurrection.

And each evening this week… lighting another candle in the Easter Garden and quietly singing hymns together in the shadows… (and yes, a few wondered (me too!): how, for glorious Resurrection Sunday, we are going to make our butterfly for the Easter Garden )
