I know they've always said it,
that once you're gone, you're gone,
that once you've turned the corner,
you can't make u-turns,
That you can never go home again.
But I've seen it,
the stairs swept clean,
the front door unlocked,
the curtain pulled back,
and the Father on the front porch, the neck strained and the eyes
squint scanning the horizon looking for
his Prodigal Son.

Wherever your wanderings have led you...
whatever road you find yourself on that you never intended,
whatever place you've awaken up to again
and knew it was in the middle of nowhere good,
whenever your heart aches for Him and Home...
know there is always a way to come back.
May your weekend, kind friends, be about that... just coming back to where God wants you.
All's grace,
